Interest Rate

• Interest rates offered on Indian Air Force Social Security Deposits (IAFSSD) by AFGIS are governed by the decisions of the Board of Trustees from time to time.


• Following rates are applicable :
  
  

  Non-Cumulative Scheme	7.75% pa
  Cumulative Scheme	8% pa



• Interest earned on the FDRs pledged against outstanding HBL gets adjusted against EMI and balance, if any after such adjustment, will be remitted to the member directly every month. If the interest is not sufficient to adjust the EMI then the member will be required to pay the difference in amount through cheque / Demand Draft or through NEFT/ RTGS directly into the Society's bank account.
